The short answer
Yes, a balcony can be added later if the building, the ground and the structural requirements allow the planned structure. Whether this is the case for your house is checked based on survey, connections and verifications for your project. The following process shows how a project with NOVODACH is typically structured.
The process in six steps

What should be clarified before you start
- Ownership and consent: For rented flats the owner’s consent is needed, for owners’ associations generally a resolution.
- Permit: Whether a permit is needed, and which, depends on location and project (Building permit for add-on balconies).
- Scope of supply: Structural design, building permit, survey, foundations, lifting equipment and installation are not automatically included in the balcony price. Check in the quotation what is expressly included (Comparing quotations).
- Type: Whether an add-on balcony on the building or a free-standing balcony on supports suits you depends on facade, plot and ground (Difference explained).
