The short answer
For a first planning step you only need a few details: approximate width and depth, the number of storeys, the postal code of the building and photos of the facade. Everything else, such as survey, structural design or foundations, is clarified afterwards for your building. This checklist orders the points in the sequence in which they typically arise. 1. Prepare: wish and framework
- What should the balcony be used for (seating area, access, several flats)?
- Approximate width and depth set
- Number of storeys set
- Wish for flooring (WPC or aluminium) and railing (bar, flat bar, sheet, glass)
- Postal code of the building noted
- Photos of the facade and the area in front of it taken
2. Configure and see the price
- Selection made in the 3D configurator
- Price of the configuration noted; it applies to exactly this selection
- Noted what is in the scope of supply and what is not
3. Clarify responsibilities

4. Check the quotation
- Dimensions, storeys, flooring and railing match the configuration
- Delivery, structural design, building permit, foundations, lifting equipment and installation are clearly stated as included or not included
- Lead time is stated (at NOVODACH usually 8–11 weeks after approval)
- VAT is stated
